ShelfNavigator Privacy Policy

ShelfNavigator は、登録した複数のフォルダを索引し、1つの棚としてまとめて閲覧・検索する macOS 用アプリです。

1. 収集する情報

RustyWorks は、ShelfNavigator を通じて個人情報、利用統計、解析データ、広告識別子を収集しません。アプリには独自のユーザー追跡、広告SDK、解析SDKは含まれていません。

2. ネットワーク通信

ShelfNavigator はネットワーク通信を行いません。アプリにはネットワーク接続の権限そのものが与えられておらず、外部と通信することができません。

したがって、ファイル名・フォルダ構成・サムネイル・利用状況などが外部へ送信されることはありません。更新確認やテレメトリの送信もありません。

3. ローカルに保存される情報

アプリは、動作のために以下の情報をMac内にのみ保存します。

登録したフォルダのファイル一覧（名前・パス・サイズ・日時・寸法・長さなど）を収めたカタログ（索引）
サムネイル画像のキャッシュ
登録したフォルダへ再びアクセスするためのセキュリティスコープ付きブックマーク
表示モード、並び順、サムネイルの大きさなどのアプリ設定

これらはすべてお使いのMac内に留まり、開発者のサーバーへ送信されません。

4. ファイルとフォルダへのアクセス

ShelfNavigator は App Sandbox 上で動作し、ユーザーが明示的に登録したフォルダにのみアクセスします。

登録したフォルダは索引され、変更があれば自動的に反映されます。ファイルの内容が外部へ送信されることはありません。

Finder のタグを読み取り、サイドバーに表示します。重複ファイルの検出時には、ユーザーの操作に応じて対象ファイルに「Duplicate」タグを付与する場合があります。

5. 写真ライブラリ

ユーザーが「Photos」を選択した場合にのみ、ShelfNavigator は macOS の写真ライブラリへアクセスし、写真とビデオを表示します。アクセスの可否は macOS の許可ダイアログで制御されます。

写真ライブラリの内容が外部へ送信されることはありません。

6. ファイルの削除について

ShelfNavigator がファイルを完全に消去することはありません。削除操作は macOS のゴミ箱への移動であり、⌘Z ですぐに元へ戻すことができます。

最終的な消去は、ユーザーが Finder でゴミ箱を空にしたときにのみ行われます。

English Privacy Policy

ShelfNavigator is a macOS app that indexes the folders you register and browses them as one searchable shelf.

1. Information We Collect

RustyWorks does not collect personal information, usage statistics, analytics data, advertising identifiers, or tracking data through ShelfNavigator. The app contains no user tracking, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK.

2. Network Communication

ShelfNavigator does not communicate over the network. The app is not granted the network client entitlement at all, so it is unable to connect to anything outside your Mac.

No file names, folder structures, thumbnails, or usage data ever leave your machine. There is no update check and no telemetry.

3. Information Stored Locally

The app stores the following on your Mac only, in order to work.

A catalogue (index) of the files in the folders you register — names, paths, sizes, dates, dimensions, durations and similar
A cache of thumbnail images
Security-scoped bookmarks so registered folders can be reopened later
App settings such as view mode, sort order, and thumbnail size

All of it stays on your Mac and is never sent to RustyWorks servers.

4. File and Folder Access

ShelfNavigator runs in the App Sandbox and accesses only the folders you explicitly register.

Registered folders are indexed and kept up to date automatically. File contents are never transmitted.

Finder tags are read and shown in the sidebar. When reviewing duplicates, the app may add a "Duplicate" tag to files you select.

5. Photos Library

Only when you choose "Photos" does ShelfNavigator access your macOS Photos library to display its photos and videos. Access is governed by the standard macOS permission prompt.

Nothing from your Photos library is transmitted anywhere.

6. Deleting Files

ShelfNavigator never erases a file. Deleting moves it to the macOS Trash, and ⌘Z puts it straight back.

Permanent removal happens only when you empty the Trash yourself in the Finder.
