Recoup Privacy Policy

1．収集する情報

RustyWorks は、Recoup を通じて個人情報、利用統計、解析データ、広告識別子を収集しません。アプリには独自のユーザー追跡、広告SDK、解析SDKは含まれていません。

2．ネットワーク通信

Recoup はネットワーク通信を行いません。アプリにはネットワーク機能そのものが実装されておらず、外部と通信することができません。

したがって、スキャンしたディスクの内容、復元したファイル、ファイル名、利用状況などが外部へ送信されることはありません。更新確認やテレメトリの送信もありません。

3．ローカルに保存される情報

アプリは、動作のために以下の情報をお使いの Mac 内にのみ保存します。

• 復元したファイル（お客様が指定した保存先フォルダ内）
• スキャン結果の一覧（保存先フォルダ内の report.csv）
• 中断したスキャンを再開するための進行状況（scan.progress）
• 表示モード、サムネイルの大きさなどのアプリ設定

これらはすべてお使いの Mac 内に留まり、開発者のサーバーへ送信されません。

4．ディスクへのアクセス

Recoup は、お客様が明示的に選択したディスクおよびディスクイメージにのみアクセスします。

復元元のディスクは常に読み取り専用で開かれ、書き込みは一切行いません。書き込みが発生するのは、お客様が指定した保存先フォルダに対してのみです。

生のディスクを読み取る際には、macOS 標準の認証ダイアログを通じて管理者パスワードの入力を求められます。入力されたパスワードはアプリが受け取ることはなく、macOS が処理します。

5．購入と決済

本アプリの購入・決済は Polar（Merchant of Record）を通じて行われ、それらの取引情報は Polar のプライバシーポリシーに従って扱われます。開発者がクレジットカード情報等を受け取ることはありません。

1. Information We Collect

RustyWorks collects no personal information, usage statistics, analytics data, or advertising identifiers through Recoup. The app contains no user tracking of its own, no advertising SDK, and no analytics SDK.

2. Network Communication

Recoup does not communicate over the network. The app has no networking capability implemented at all, so it cannot reach anything outside your Mac.

As a result, nothing about the disks you scan, the files you recover, their names, or how you use the app is ever sent anywhere. There is no update check and no telemetry.

3. Information Stored Locally

To do its job, the app stores the following only on your Mac.

• Recovered files (in the destination folder you choose)
• A list of scan results (report.csv, in that same folder)
• Progress for resuming an interrupted scan (scan.progress)
• App settings such as view mode and thumbnail size

All of this stays on your Mac and is never sent to the developer's servers.

4. Disk Access

Recoup accesses only the disks and disk images you explicitly select.

The source disk is always opened read-only and is never written to. Writing happens only to the destination folder you choose.

Reading a raw disk requires an administrator password, which macOS asks for through its own standard authorisation dialog. The app never receives that password; macOS handles it.

5. Purchases and Payment

Purchase and payment for this app go through Polar as Merchant of Record, and that transaction information is handled under Polar's privacy policy. The developer never receives credit card details or similar.
